Assessment first
We begin with a garment check, so the quote reflects the construction, condition, and the number of adjustments needed. That keeps the process clear from the start.
Everyday alterations and repairs, handled with care and clear communication.
Tailor's Nest helps local residents, working professionals, and families keep everyday garments wearing well and fitting properly. From hems and sleeve adjustments to zipper replacement and seam repair, we focus on practical work that extends the life of clothing.
Each garment is inspected before we confirm the scope, price, and completion date. That way, you know what can be done, what it will involve, and when to expect it back.

Straightforward alterations, careful repairs, and a process built around the garment in front of us.
We begin with a garment check, so the quote reflects the construction, condition, and the number of adjustments needed. That keeps the process clear from the start.
From hemming and sleeve changes to seam and lining repair, the workshop handles the kinds of jobs that help clothing last longer and fit better.
We confirm the scope before moving ahead, and any extra work is discussed and approved first. You stay informed at each step.
Finished garments are checked again at collection, with care notes and pressing guidance shared where appropriate so you know how to look after the result.
Founded by Ella Thompson, Tailor's Nest grew from a simple idea: clothing should fit the way people live, not the other way around.
Since 2020, the workshop has concentrated on alterations that make a real difference to daily wear. The work is measured, garment-led, and based on the construction of each item rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
We review the garment on arrival, assess the fabric and seams, and explain the likely adjustment path before any work begins. If additional work becomes necessary, it is only carried out after approval.
Clients often return for the final fit review because it gives them a chance to check the result on collection and discuss any small finishing points with care.
